Message because, like others who've said this same thing, I've had nothing to do with Z1. I've had no personal experiences with them except hanging out with them and everyone else I met at ZDayZ last year. Russell does spin a mean set, and they know how to have fun, but that has nothing to do with business.

My post here really has very little to do with the Z1 issue; it's more in response to your actions here and those complaining about them.

I for one appreciate your attempts to show the bigger picture to the masses here. I don't have the time to research all vendors this deeply. Dee says let people do their own research; well, your information encompasses an excellent starting point, providing explicit examples, and even then, I am my own individual and I can do FURTHER research and still make my own decisions.

When I research a product, I like to get reviews from actual users. Usually the positive ones are up front, and that's great, but I find myself looking for the negative ones as well, even when I really think I want the thing. I want to know if people have concerns that I might share, or if those negative reviews were written only because they're being particularly picky and having unrealistic expectations. I've nixed a product choice based on a few negative but pertinent reviews even when the "positive" list was quite long. I like to have that information.

So before I get as wordy as you ;-),

- Yes, this is dragging out quite a bit, to the point for some of being tiresome.

- That's fine; this is big drama for a few days, but before everyone realizes it, it'll be blown over.

- I'm sure that's one reason why you're trying NOW to make as big an impact as you can.

- Just be careful, as some have appropriately pointed out, that you don't turn into the wacko with the "The end is near!" sign. There IS a point where you've put out enough information and more just becomes redundant or fanatical. I myself have to notice this line on occasion.

- I have been able to tell through all this that you're driven by something deeper than just this situation; I appreciate your sharing the back story.

- It makes sense that as an experienced person, you want to save the inexperienced from being hurt in ways you have been. That's how it goes with human beings who still care and haven't become too jaded. I appreciate that.

- And, as it also always goes with younger/inexperienced people, some have to experience it for themselves, while others are interested in learning and avoiding.

Bottom line: This forum and this issue are like microcosms of the world at large, society at large, businesses at large. All you can do is be you and do your thing. Some will appreciate it; others won't. To those who don't; quit reading Seedy's posts. Ignore the hubbub. It really is easy enough to do; I glance over and ignore posts daily based on their subject line. For those who do appreciate it: Seedy, it's clear that you ARE making a difference to some, either positively or negatively, and I'm sure that's the part that matters to you. As I said, however I feel about the issue myself, I appreciate your energy and desire to show me what you see. What I choose to do with it is my own.

And I think I just failed at not being as wordy as you. ;-)

I was previously a aviation mechanic and avionic technician and this car is harder to work on than Aircraft.
